Description
Magnolia Gardens has been famous since the late 1800s, and for well oveer a century, many experts have considered it "the most beautiful garden in the world." Its reputation today is enhanced by the fact that the garden is now planted to offer the best bloom possible during every season.
Magnolia has nearly 500 acres of gardens and grounds to explore. Experience plantation life by visiting the pre-Revolutionary rice barge and a large Native-American ceremonial mound. Horticultural higlights include a Biblical Garden, an Herb Garden, a Camelia Garden, and the conservatory. Children will enjoy a maze, petting zoo and playground with an area to dig for fossils.
