Photography has always been a passion of mine. For many years I have taken photographs as a hobby, up unto recently is when I went back to school to turn my hobby into a career that I love. It was interesting to find out how much post-production work is done to photographs now days via Photoshop. However, I think that there is still a sovereign beauty in a shot that has been taken in its most natural state. That is why all my photographs are taken in manual mode and the most minimal adjustments are performed in Photoshop. Contact me if your want to buy...Direct: ivetebassophotography@gmail.com My photography ranges quite a bit, varying from landscapes to portraits. I am astonished at how beautiful the world is and grateful to be...

Thanks Angela. Appreciate very much your nice comment and your V/F. Thanks again for visit my Gallery! This place is far from you like 113 miles about 2 hours, but this year again don't have poppy flowers, because of the weather. Last Saturday and Sunday they had the Annual "Poppy Flowers Festival". It's a big event in the Antelope Valley! Next year if have a Poppy Flowers I will send you a e-mail for you to come and we can go together to the Poppy Fields where this picture was taken.

Hi Ivete...I used to live in Lancaster. I come out for the poppies almost every year! This year wasn't looking good for wildflowers...anywhere...until these last two storms!!! Maybe there's hope now!! Thank you for the info & enjoy your snow!!!
Ivete Basso
Yes! Only after April 20th to May. But this year we have more snow. Yesterday snowing all afternoon...maybe the flowers coming later...Is better call the Reserve to make sure. Thank you for post my photos.
Lynn Bauer
I know exactly where this is!! Do you think there will be any poppies at the Reserve this year?
